Women and Elections

Roza Organization for the Protection of Women and Environment, in cooperation with Women for Women International (WfWI) and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), presents a weekly program on Nawa Radio.
This activity is part of the NISSAM Project, and the aim of the program is to encourage women to participate in elections and to vote for female candidates.

The program Women and Elections is broadcast every Saturday at 11:00 AM, and repeated the same day at 5:00 PM.

In this episode, the guest was Sarbast Amedi, former Chairman of the Independent High Electoral Commission, and the topic of discussion was the impact of the Commission’s independence on the transparency and integrity of elections.
